About the Role
As the SDR Manager, you will recruit, coach, and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who generate and qualify new pipeline through outbound prospecting. You will leverage call coaching and performance management through data to optimize outreach strategies and sales processes that deliver measurable results, contribute to the company’s overall growth objective, and improve SDR effectiveness. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for developing your team’s skills by actively training, participating in call reviews, providing real-time feedback, and refining messaging to drive better results.
Compensation: $90K - $100K Base | $120K - $130K OTE (Uncapped Commissions)

Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Team Development
- Reporting to The Director of Sales, the SDR Manager will hire, train, and actively coach a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed pipeline targets.
- Conduct weekly call coaching sessions, using frameworks to improve messaging, objection handling, and qualification skills.
- Provide real-time feedback on calls and emails to enhance SDR effectiveness.
- Create and refine SDR playbooks, including cold calling scripts, email templates, and messaging frameworks.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training to improve individual sales, product knowledge, and industry expertise of team members.
Performance Management & Data-Driven Insights
- Analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and promptly develop strategies to address and correct them.
- Use data to diagnose performance gaps and implement targeted training programs to improve performance.
- A/B test messaging and outreach sequences to optimize conversion rates.
Hands-On Leadership & Collaboration
- Join live SDR calls to model best practices and provide immediate coaching.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment on ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and outreach strategies.
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth lead handoff process and improve pipeline velocity.
- Partner with RevOps to ensure that SDR workflows and tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, etc.) are used effectively.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of SDR leadership experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of recruiting, training, and coaching SDRs into top-performing sales professionals.
- Experience coaching SDRs on cold calls, using real-time feedback and developing call scripts.
- Strong understanding of outbound prospecting techniques, including phone and email.
- Ability to diagnose performance issues using data and implement improvement plans.
- Hands-on leadership style—willing to jump on calls and lead by example.
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar sales tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
