Production Worker

Job Title: Produce Processor

Location: Kalihi

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday - Starting at 6:00 AM

Job Summary: Join our team as a Produce Processor and play an essential role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our produce processing operations. This position involves inspecting raw materials, operating machinery, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Essential Functions:

• Inspect and verify the quality of raw materials.

• Notify management and QA of any unacceptable quality issues.

• Process raw materials using hand tools and machinery.

• Move, store, and rotate finished products with hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts.

• Load finished products onto hauler trucks for transportation.

• Discard production waste appropriately.

• Operate heavy equipment and maintain compliance with safety standards.

• Ensure adherence to food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Other Functions:

• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

• Attend all scheduled training sessions and meetings.

• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

• Previous food safety or processing experience preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computational and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Email).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and work in a cold environment (<40° F).

• Manual dexterity and ability to operate processing equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
