Job Summary
The Director of Food and Beverage is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within our establishment. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Director will lead a team of culinary and service professionals, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are met.
Duties
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, banquets, and catering services.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and promote teamwork.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional events that drive sales and enhance guest experiences.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors to secure high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
Experience
- Proven experience in Front of house, Event and Kitchen management or food management roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in banquet operations, catering services, or restaurant management isrequired.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Culinary background is a plus; hands-on cooking experience will be beneficial in understanding kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and vendors.
