A labor and delivery nurse plays a vital role in supporting mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Responsibilities
- Monitor mother's vital signs and detect any potential complications during labor and delivery
- Provide education and support to mothers on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Requirements
- RN license with experience in Labor and Delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 48 hours per week, including nights and 12-hour shifts
- Travel nursing experience preferred
