Job Summary
A travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist is sought for an 8-week assignment in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The successful candidate will perform tests for diagnosis and medical research, preparing and administering small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and research tests using nuclear medicine equipment
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Record images of the radioactive material in the patient's body
Requirements
- Degree from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Valid state license or registration
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
