Position : Assembler 2, Instrument
Location : San Jose, CA 95131

Position Overview :
The Assembler 2 will be responsible for performing various tasks involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. This role will also require setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment. The ideal candidate will adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality guidelines, and ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform assembly tasks for medical devices according to production specifications
Set up, operate, and maintain equipment for manufacturing and assembly
Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with specifications
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment when needed
Work within defined SOPs and scientific methods to ensure product quality
Use measurement tools such as microscopes to verify specifications
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly
Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors
Ability to read, write, and interpret specifications in English
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Basic math skills for performing calculations related to assembly tasks
Willingness to rotate into different tasks as needed
Must be able to work flexible and / or extended hours as required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Demands :
