Job Title : Quality Control Inspector
Location : Woburn, MA 01801
Duration : 06 Months (Possibility of extensions)
Shift Time : M - F 6 am - 2:30 pm
Pay Rate : $25.00 per hr. on W2
Roles and Responsibilities:
- One to two (1-2) years related Quality Control experience or equivalency. Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.
- Ability to withstand repetitive motion and to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to read and comprehend English.
- Six (6) months related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience using calipers, vernier, depth mics, micrometres, MTS, Tensile testing, Integrity testing is required
- Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of products in accordance with internal procedures and Product Specifications.
- Reports non-conformances to the Supervisor and discusses corrective action.
- In addition, follow up to see if corrective action was effective.
- Determines whether the product is acceptable or rejected, initiates rejection notices, and maintains accurate written records of the inspections performed, including the results.
- Recognizes conditions outside their specific areas of inspection that require action and refers the items to the supervisor.
- Monitors compliance to G.M.P. in employee working areas and reports infractions to Q.C. Supervisor for corrective action.
- Employee evaluates both the product and process, making decisions on subjective visual inspections.
