Repair Technician I

Position Title: Repair Technician
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA 30071
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (40 hours/week)

Description:
This position is responsible for onsite field service repair at Stratix's facility in Peachtree Corners, GA. The Repair Technician will handle repairs for multiple end-user customers, including scanners and EVM devices. Responsibilities include setup, testing, modular-level repairs, and maintaining accurate records for each repair.

Responsibilities:

• Perform setup, testing, and modular-level repairs on whole units.
• Use custom software testing suites to diagnose and validate hardware failures.
• Recognize failures, follow engineering changes, and determine appropriate actions.
• Utilize equipment like voltmeters, computers, and test fixtures.
• Maintain production and quality output standards.
• Document repairs accurately and maintain repair records.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• General math skills.
• Previous experience as a production assembler or in similar roles.
• Knowledge of computers and test equipment.
• Manual dexterity and visual coordination required.
• Ability to use various hand tools.
• Ability to stand and sit on the production line during the shift.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
