Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Engineering Technician in Portage, MI. In this onsite role, you will provide vital technical support to engineers and scientists across various tasks, primarily focusing on product testing. You will be responsible for preparing technical reports and documentation, assisting with design calculations, simulations, and conducting experiments or field tests to gather data for analysis.

• Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation.
• Assist engineers in conducting experiments or field tests to collect data for analysis.
• Support engineers with technical tasks, including design calculations, simulations, and testing activities.
• Perform regular maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Effectively communicate with team members to report progress, findings, and any technical challenges.
• Contribute to research and development efforts aimed at creating new technologies or enhancing existing systems.
• Utilize strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and using test equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with others through strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with electronic systems and components.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
