Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Job Location: Indianapolis, IN - 46241
Pay range: $42 to $50 per hour on W2 only
Position Overview:
The role focuses on managing the detailed planning, scheduling, and order management to ensure optimal delivery performance. The individual will develop and nurture relationships with external suppliers, ensuring high levels of customer service, effective supply chain management, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities will involve demand and supply planning, inventory management, and timely order fulfillment to meet customer needs while adhering to budget and performance targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and customers for all supply-related matters.
• Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to review KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure communication with stakeholders about supply performance and delivery status.
• Design and manage optimal supply plans that balance customer service levels, production capabilities, inventory levels, and operational costs.
• Lead S&OP meetings with suppliers based on business needs and segmentation assessments.
• Oversee inventories according to target values and KPIs, analyzing and improving inventory turns, reducing waste, and minimizing write-offs.
• Manage and coordinate the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely delivery and shipment in collaboration with freight forwarders.
• Maintain and optimize planning and master data parameters such as MOQ, lead times, and order frequency.
• Verify transport invoices and manage toll reconciliations (if applicable) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Design and implement supply chain models to adapt to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations management, supplier relationship management, or order fulfillment.
• Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, etc.).
