Hours: Potential Shifts
- 7:00am to 3:30pm
- 3:00pm to 11:30pm
- 11:00pm to 7:30am
Position Objective
The Patient Sitter is responsible for providing close and/or continuous observation of pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients who may be at risk for adverse events such as falls, self-injury or harm to others.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direct observation of patients as directed by the nursing staff and never leaves the patient alone or out of sight unless specifically instructed by the nurse
- Report on changes in the condition of the patient to the appropriate supervisor and other staff members
Other Responsibilities
- Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
- Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
- Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
- Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Healthcare environment experience
