Here's the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set in computer repair, network administration, and programming. This role involves providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of both hardware and software infrastructure.
What Your Work-life Comprises
- Computer Repair & Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, peripherals, and office equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance, including updates, backups, and troubleshooting hardware failures.
- Build, configure, and upgrade computer systems to meet organizational needs.
Network Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls and antivirus solutions.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems.
Technical Support & Training
- Provide technical support to all employees, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Train staff on IT systems, security best practices, and software usage.
- Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations
IT Systems Management
- Ensure proper functioning and security of servers, databases, and cloud services.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions for organizational growth.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate software with hardware systems.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience:
- Proven experience in computer repair and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and security.
- Expertise with Windows, macOS operating systems. Linux expertise is a big plus.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
*Preferred:
- Certification in relevant areas (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , CCNA, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Salesforce and SQL
- Experience with IT project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience with platform migrations
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining system integrity.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish.
