Job Title: Learning and Development Manager
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Direct Subordinates: Training Managers
Job Summary: The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance employee skills, standardize processes, and drive efficiency and effectiveness. This role ensures that training initiatives align with company objectives and support employee career development while maintaining a culture of continuous learning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Training Program Development & Implementation:
- Develop comprehensive learning strategies that align with company goals and employee career growth.
- Design and implement training programs tailored to address organizational needs and skills gaps.
- Standardize training processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions as needed.
- Develop instructional materials, including SOP’s, e-learning modules, and workshops.
Assessment & Evaluation:
- Identify and analyze training needs through employee feedback, performance reviews, and industry trends.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on training assessments and feedback.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead a team of Training and Development Specialists, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Oversee and manage training schedules, ensuring smooth program execution.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with department heads and employees to identify training needs and career development opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to create learning pathways for high-potential employees.
- Establish clear communication channels to promote training initiatives and resources.
Skills Required:
- Facilitation: Ability to implement tools and processes to enhance learning.
- Active Listening: Effectively understand employee and managerial training needs.
- Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of training professionals.
- Critical Thinking: Evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Work Schedule: Full-time, exempt. Standard schedule with flexibility allowed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Training Completion Rate: Measure employee participation in mandatory and elective training programs.
- Employee Performance Improvement: Assess changes in employee productivity and efficiency post-training.
- Training Satisfaction Scores: Gather feedback from employees on training effectiveness.
- Retention & Development: Track employee retention and career progression linked to training programs.
- Standardization Success: Evaluate the consistency of training implementation across locations.
