Alopex/Shifox is at the forefront of innovation, developing cutting-edge software solutions. We are seeking a Principal Back-End Engineer to lead our backend development, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance backend services using Go (Golang).
• Architect and maintain secure, efficient APIs (REST) for front-end applications and third-party integrations.
• Optimize and scale MySQL databases, implementing indexing, replication, and query optimization strategies.
• Lead and advocate for microservices architecture and modular backend systems.
• Implement best practices in software engineering, security (OAuth, JWT, encryption), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to other engineers.
• Research and adopt modern backend technologies to improve system performance and efficiency.

• 8 years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years in Go (Golang).
• Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong MySQL skills (schema design, indexing, query optimization, replication).
• Experience with caching (Redis, Memcached) for performance optimization.
• Hands-on knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, Nomad).
• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in API design (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance monitoring.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Contributions to open source Go projects or active participation in the Go community.
