Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those receiving care, particularly seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health status.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety during outings.
- Provide catheter care and other specialized health-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client care activities and report any changes in condition to healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CPR techniques is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is beneficial.
- A strong understanding of senior care practices and the ability to assist clients effectively.
- Must possess a clean background check and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care.
