What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Sales Rep position at Aloware?
We are looking for multiple full-cycle SaaS Sales Reps (also known as account executives, but we prefer SaaS sales rep). This role requires you to perform as a full cycle rep (BDR AE) for 3 months, and then be promoted to account executive.
Our target ACV is $15k to $100k. We are looking at companies between 20 - 500 employees. Our target account uses HubSpot or Salesforce as their CRM, and 20-100 salespeople. you'd be selling a dialer solution to other sales teams.
** First 3 months - fullcycle rep
We're forming a new outbound team in Scottsdale AZ, as we are hiring for both BDRs and AEs. To start, as an Aloware sales rep, you'll be responsible for booking your own appointments. As we scale up, our (to be hired) BDRs will work the appointments.
This role is fully outbound: we give you the data (from shows, events, webinars) AND you are responsible for booking your own meetings. Expect 100 calls, texts, emails and linkedins (!) a day.
** Post 90 days - Promotion to full AE
As an Aloware AE, Your job revolves around making & closing deals. You'd take qualified deals from BDRs or marketing, nurture the relationship, handle technical demos, negotiate a contract, and close.
You'd still be responsible for making 20% of your pipeline yourself.
Notable numbers:
- Base: 40k to 70k - OTE: 80k to 140k. 60/40 split.
- Quota: 400k to 700k ARR. 10x your base in annual terms.
- Ramp: 30%, 60%, 100%.
- Bonuses for over-attainment of quota.
Notable qualifications:
- 2-3 years of previous AE, BDR or SDR at a SaaS company
- Proven track record of running successful ABM outbound motions with a small team.
- Typical ACV of 10k to 100k - B2B only
- Able to do product demos - Aloware sales are consultative
- You have a passion for pitching: cold calling, cold emailing, or cold Linkedin-ing
- Previous experience with HubSpot / Salesforce - mandatory
- Startup mentality, comfortable wearing multiple hats & being hands-on.
