Lightning Protection Technician / Cable Installer ( N.E.R )

Job Overview

We are seeking the right person to join our team in our WAYNESVILLE, NC. location. You must be able to work on roofs and attic spaces.

No FELONIES ( please don't apply if you have prior felonies ) Our clients run background checks.

You must be DRUG FREE and have a REAL ID ( This is required by our clients )

This position is seeking candidates with existing Construction experience or previous commercial jobsite related skills. Ladder and Lift experience a must. You must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights. Those familiar with this position will understand the use of M.E.W.P ( Skyjack Boom Lifts ).

This is an outside position and working in the weather is required. OSHA 10 Certification is a plus.

Upon successful completion and graduation you are onboarded to FULL TIME pay and benefits. With each successful course your pay is increased...earning you not only top dollar but giving you a Licensed Certification both in Lightning Protection and OSHA Classes.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for residential and commercial customers in the area of Lightning Protection Systems.

- Attend the on job training program and complete all course studies on time.

- Provide and Utilize basic hand tools to complete installations with precision.

- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Experience in cable installation or related field is preferred.

- REAL ID Driver's License, No Felonies, Clean Background and be DRUG free

- Some overnight work and travel is required...paid Per Diem included.

- Proficiency with internet, laptop and web based aps as well as LP Course work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Must be able to climb ladders, work on both pitched roofs and walk on rough framing ceiling joists, work in most weather conditions and be in good health. Be able to lift 75 lbs.

No previous electrical or mechanical experience is required, and we are willing to train the right people. All cabling is non-energized.

Your pay is reflected by your willingness to complete the TRAINING program.

Transportation will be provided to and from the job site. Some overnight work may be required with travel benefits. All transportation and hotel accommodations are provided.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
