BOH Team Member

16-17.50 / hr

Pay rate includes base hourly wage tips.

We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry. Candidates for this job must be able to show up to work on time, follow recipes, and keep a clean work area. We are seeking enthusiastic team members to perform kitchen duties that ensure the proper treatment of food, follow safety guidelines and work in a team setting.

The BOH Team Member role varies day to day. You may be responsible for any of the following duties on any certain day.

Duties :

Cooking Skills

Cooking food in a timely manner

Memorize and utilize serving portions for each dish

Food Safety / Safety

Follow food safety guidelines

Keep up with the oven (checking oven temperature, loading oven with charcoal, cleaning oven)

Ensure proper cooking temp.

Be able to follow food handling guidelines and sanitary and health-related protocols.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Prep

Follow production charts, fill out logs and keep track of chicken cooking time.

Organize and store chicken in its proper containers.

Prepare food and store in their designated container in an organized manner

Portion, wrap, and label ingredients with name and date

Cleaning

Utilizing correct cleaning methods for the preparation of certain items

Wash dishes using the dishwasher or by hand.

Be able to perform opening, closing and side work.

Tareas :

Habilidades de Cocina

Cocinar los alimentos de manera adecuada.

Memorizar y utilizar las porciones de servicio para cada plato

Seguridad Alimentaria / Seguridad

Seguir las normas de seguridad alimentaria

Mantenimiento al horno (revisar la temperatura del horno, cargar el horno con carbón, limpiar el horno)

Asegurar la temperatura adecuada de cocción.

Poder seguir las normas de manipulación de alimentos y los protocolos sanitarios y relacionados con la salud.

Mantener una área de trabajo limpia y segura.

Preparación

Preparar los alimentos siguiendo las normas de los requisitos diarios, llenar los formularios y mantener un seguimiento del tiempo de cocción del pollo.

Organizar y almacenar el pollo en sus contenedores adecuados.

Preparar comida y guardar en sus recipientes designados de manera organizada

Porcionar, envolver y etiquetar ingredientes con nombre y fecha

Limpieza

Utilizar métodos de limpieza correctos para la preparación de ciertos artículos

Lavar los platos utilizando el lavavajillas o a mano.

Ser capaz de realizar tareas de apertura, cierre y trabajos adicionales.

Salary : $16 - $18
