Position Description :
Faculty position with teaching responsibilities for a full range of Computer Science Network Administration and Cybersecurity courses. Instructor will also participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of all courses taught within the area as well as contributing to ongoing improvement of program curriculums.
Position Responsibilities :

- Teach lecture and laboratory portions in Network Administration & Cybersecurity Program. Teaching load determined by the Faculty Council Master Agreement.
- Prepare and distribute course syllabi to students.
- Evaluate student progress through examinations, graded homework, quizzes, projects, observations, and laboratory reports and / or other assessment methods.
- Develop new courses and update courses within the department including catalog descriptions and course outlines as directed.
- Update curriculum and textbooks, whether printed or digital, as well as other teaching and learning resources should be reviewed, selected, updated, and ordered periodically by the instructor
- Budget for and order supplies and equipment necessary for the Network Administration & Cybersecurity program.
- Be available for individual student assistance, advising, and / or consultation as required by the Master Agreement.
- Participate in committee work at the College.
- Utilize college technologies for communication, course management, and assessment.
- Participate in program advisory committee activities.
- Participate in department curriculum revision and evaluation activities.
- Maintain a high level of academic competency through staff development activities. Serve as a role model for students.
- Work with College Admissions Office to recruit Computer Science / Network Administration & Cybersecurity students.
- Presence on the job is an employee's fundamental obligation. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Instruction according to the terms of the Faculty Master Agreement.
