Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part ensuring system availability and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment to perform troubleshooting and repairs using standard mechanical tools and shop equipment.
- Respond to and correct equipment stoppage issues,
- Resolve equipment issues related to worn or defective parts,
- Operate and maintain various tools, including pneumatic, hand, welding, and electrical tools.
- Complete the necessary paperwork and documentation for each task.
- Assist other maintenance crafts as needed.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and all food safety protocols.
This position is designated safety sensitive and requires adherence to strict safety and quality protocols.
Requirements
- High School completion or equivalent.
- 5 years or more proved experience as an industrial maintenance technician
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Local Hire Only and requires membership in Teamsters Local 305
