What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Delivery Driver position at Alpers Logistics?
We are a Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground. We are looking for dedicated Full-Time drivers to deliver packages to customers within our service area in a safe and efficient manner.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading packages (sometimes up to 150 lbs)
- Will be operating a delivery vehicle in both residential and business locations.
- Providing quality delivery service in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (safety first)
- Must be able to get to work on time (reliable transportation)
- Must follow all local and state laws while on duty or in a company vehicle.
- Will be delivering to locations that may have animals such as dogs, cows, horses, etc.
- Must be able to follow all rules and regulations within the company policies.
- Will be required to wear company uniform (properly) while on duty or while in a company vehicle.
Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
Applicant must be able to pass a Background Screen, Drug Screen, and a DOT Physical (to receive a DOT Medical Certificate)
Applicant must have a clean driving record.
