Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring safe and timely delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving box trucks or vans preferred; manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
