Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transportation Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Alpha Corporation. As a key member of our Civil Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing transportation infrastructure projects that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage transportation infrastructure projects from planning through preparation of contract plans, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Conduct concept design studies including traffic analyses.
- Prepare and modify construction documents (plans, specifications, estimates), reports, and other design deliverables for project milestones.
- Coordinate and mentor junior engineers and engineering technicians.
- Perform quality control reviews of design plans, specifications, and estimates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8 years of proven experience in design and project management of one or more transportation disciplines.
- Project experience with MDOT SHA and Maryland jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in software: MicroStation, InRoads and OpenRoads, AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Experience with project delivery of MDOT SHA and local government transportation projects, including permitting requirements.
