Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Roofing Sales Contractor to join our sales team. As a Commission-Based W-2 employee, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing customer relationships from initial contact through the completion of the roofing project. You will be selling a wide range of roofing services, including repairs, replacements, and installations. This is a commission-based role with competitive compensation potential and growth opportunities, and being part of a smaller company means you will have a more personalized experience and greater flexibility in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate leads through various methods, including referrals, networking, and cold calling.
  • Conduct in-home or on-site consultations with potential clients to assess roofing needs and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare and present detailed, accurate, and competitive roofing proposals.
  • Follow up with clients and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the roofing team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and potential future business.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, roofing products, and market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
  • Ability to assess roofing needs and provide accurate recommendations.
  • Comfortable working in a commission-based structure.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and roofing systems is a plus.
