Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Roofing Sales Contractor to join our sales team. As a Commission-Based W-2 employee, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing customer relationships from initial contact through the completion of the roofing project. You will be selling a wide range of roofing services, including repairs, replacements, and installations. This is a commission-based role with competitive compensation potential and growth opportunities, and being part of a smaller company means you will have a more personalized experience and greater flexibility in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate leads through various methods, including referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Conduct in-home or on-site consultations with potential clients to assess roofing needs and provide recommendations.
- Prepare and present detailed, accurate, and competitive roofing proposals.
- Follow up with clients and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Collaborate with the roofing team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and potential future business.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, roofing products, and market conditions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to assess roofing needs and provide accurate recommendations.
- Comfortable working in a commission-based structure.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of local building codes and roofing systems is a plus.
