As an AFC - Livingston, Operations Team Member, you are the first point of contact for our members and play a key role in delivering an exceptional fitness experience. You are a brand ambassador, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed, supported, and empowered.
Job Responsibilities:
Membership Sales:
- Walk first-time visitors through the AFC experience, making them feel comfortable and prepared for their first workout.
- Assist in closing membership sales alongside the coaching team.
- Help members book classes via the AFC app and ensure they understand membership policies.
Daily Operations:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gym environment using provided checklists.
- Sell and restock AFC merchandise to enhance the member experience.
- Respond to member inquiries via text and provide prompt, friendly support.
- Manage daily class rosters, highlighting milestones, birthdays, and first-time visitors to foster community engagement.
- Capture engaging content for social media, showcasing the AFC experience and community.
- Follow closing procedures, including cleaning and securing the facility.
Qualifications:
- Personable, energetic, and passionate about health, fitness, and community building.
- Strong with a focus on creating a positive experience.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle responsibilities efficiently.
- Prior experience in fitness, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in social media management, including capturing and posting content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Ability to create engaging content that highlights the AFC community, workouts, and member success stories.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies to support member engagement and brand visibility.
