He/she will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive credit assessments, supporting the team’s investment strategies, and collaborating with global colleagues, including frequent communication with headquarters. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed credit research and analysis across various sectors to evaluate financial health, creditworthiness, and risk profiles.
- Provide actionable credit assessments that align with the team’s investment strategies and objectives.
- Support the startup of the credit investment team by contributing to the development of processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and well-supported credit opinions to portfolio managers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and analysts to identify, evaluate, and implement profitable investment opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth asset valuation, relative value analysis, and market research to support fixed-income strategies.
- Communicate frequently with the headquarters to ensure alignment and effective collaboration across global teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA and/or CFA designation strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, fixed-income investing, or related fields, with exposure to both buy-side and sell-side environments welcomed.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to contribute to the startup of a new team and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially advanced Excel), Bloomberg, and other financial research platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to decision-makers.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience working in a global organization and coordinating with teams across different time zones is a plus.
