Summary
The Non-profit Retail Store Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a non-profit retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining efficient store operations, and supporting the organization's mission. This role involves supervising employees, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Additionally, the Site Supervisor will create an inclusive work environment that supports individuals with developmental disabilities through training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive work environment aligned with the organization's mission.
- Manage inventory levels, including pricing, stocking, and merchandising products effectively.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
- Assist with achieving sales goals and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or supervisory roles, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team interaction.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs on a periodic basis.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
