Locksmith Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems, with the ability to provide high-quality service to our clients. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and functionality of locks and keys for residential, commercial, and automotive clients. Your expertise will help maintain safety and peace of mind for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and locking mechanisms.
• Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently.
• Use specialized tools, including an ohmmeter, to diagnose issues with electronic locking systems.
• Provide key cutting services and create duplicate keys as needed.
• Conduct security assessments for residential and commercial properties.
• Offer recommendations for improving security measures based on client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory used.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in locksmithing technology.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of locks, keys, and security systems.
• Proficient in using locksmithing tools, including an ohmmeter.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on job responsibilities.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
