Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas while ensuring that laundry services meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in dry cleaning and hotel environments, demonstrating a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
- Handle dry cleaning services as required, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or items.
- Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or laundry role preferred, especially in a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
