The position involves various aspects of industrial automation, including servo control, power management, code compliance, logic architecture, component selection, and integration with mechanical, robotic, and software systems. You will collaborate with the engineering team to develop designs and bring them to market.
Requirements
- Design, modify, and support industrial equipment and processing systems
- Work with suppliers and customers to identify specifications, components, and systems
- Prepare drawings for component layouts and wiring schematics
- Develop, modify, and maintain code for PLC, HMI, and robotic systems
- Collaborate on project documentation, including service and repair manuals
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing and field service teams
- Investigate and resolve system or equipment failures
- Evaluate the performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems
- Identify new applications for existing and emerging technologies
- Research industrial processes and operations
