The Electrical Controls Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems for advanced robotic platforms, with an emphasis on controls, PLCs, HMIs, and automation in industrial applications.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop electrical systems for robotic platforms, focusing on motion control and fluid systems.
- Create prototypes, specify instrumentation, motors, and develop electrical panels for industrial machinery.
- Program and integrate PLC and HMI systems for real-time control and automation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including UL508A , NFPA 79 , and NEC .
- Troubleshoot and support manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Use SolidWorks Electrical for schematic design and documentation following ANSI and ISO standards.
- Apply AGILE project management methodologies to drive product development from prototype to commercialization.
