The Electrical Designer is responsible for creating electrical design drawings for power distribution, machine controls, and instrument design. This role requires working independently on electrical and controls drawings, following design standards to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Creating electrical and control system drawings using CAD software.
- Implement design changes to improve customer operations or resolve product issues.
- Follow design standards and quality procedures, and suggest and apply solutions to field problems, including design changes and change orders.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by the Controls Engineering Manager or Senior Electrical Designer.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with EPLAN experience being a plus.
- 3-5 years of design experience with electrical components and pneumatic drawings, as well as knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to review and check designs before submission to customers or manufacturing.
