Nurse Practitioner in Pain Management
Alpha Medical Partners is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Pain Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management, spine surgery, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or orthopedic surgery.
The position involves working Monday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts, with no nights or weekends required. Candidates must have a New York Nurse Practitioner License (current or eligible), APRN certification, and DEA License.
About the Position:
- Job Type: Full-time, 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday
- No Call: No night shifts or weekends required
- Work Locations: Primary location in Port Jefferson with one day per week in Riverhead
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic pain conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote positive outcomes
