IT Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Specialist to provide effective break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. This role will primarily involve troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating systems, along with re-imaging devices, reinstalling applications, and coordinating with third-party vendors for escalations and hardware replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Re-image devices and reinstall/configure applications as necessary, ensuring systems are properly set up and optimized for user needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, hardware components, and enterprise applications.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for escalations, hardware replacements, and other technical support issues.
• Document and track issues, resolutions, and all relevant technical details in the IT service management system (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve hardware, software, and OS issues efficiently.
• Previous experience in an enterprise IT environment, with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and business processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently as required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IT service management systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, networking protocols, and general IT infrastructure.
• Certification in relevant IT support fields (CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified, etc.) is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Vandalia, OH 45424: Relocate before starting work (Required)
