Duties
- Provide technical support for software troubleshooting and hardware issues across various platforms.
- Assist clients with LAN setup, configuration, and management to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Utilize Remedy for tracking and resolving technical support requests efficiently.
- Manage computer networking tasks, including firewall configurations and VPN setups.
- Conduct regular maintenance on systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and develop solutions to improve service delivery.
- Document all support interactions in a clear and concise manner for future reference.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist clients.
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting techniques with a focus on user experience.
- Familiarity with LAN technologies and network management principles.
- Experience with Remedy or similar ticketing systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer management practices, including system updates and security protocols.
- Understanding of computer networking concepts, including firewalls and VPN configurations.
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus but not required.
