Technical knowledge in IBM Power processors, IBM DS8950 and CISCO SAN from initial build (rack and stack which is performed by IBM Engineer but need to send instructions), request for cabling (standard pattern), verification of installed cabling at SAN, IBM Power and IBM DS8950 level, request, and verification of TCP / IP, HMC configuration (standard pattern), CSM for DS8950 etc.
For IBM Power processors require the skills to build VIOS from scratch at specified level including applying any required fixes, creation of backup disk, creation of scheduled backups, application of security hardening.
For DS8950, extensive knowledge of DSCLI to build and configure DS8950 including creation of arraysite, array, pools, LUNS, volume groups, host connects, host groups etc. All configuration required for LPAR build to be included as new LPARs are built within the environment. Also required are skills in CSM including creation of new sessions, amending / upgrading sessions, start / stop of replication, roleswap to contingency etc.

For DS evergreening migrations, initial development migrations from DS8950 to FS9500 including creation of new disk on the FS9500 that's added to the IBMi LPAR via SST, then disk drain and load source migration, then removal of old DS8950 LUNS. Including is SAN zoning to new FS9500. For production migrations from DS8886 to DS8950, global copy using DSCLI from DS to DS, set up of replication via PowerHA toolkit and CSM. On migration day full switch over to the new DS including CSM switchover and replication to MMIR, update of PowerHA toolkit, followed by removal of the old infrastructure.
For Power evergreening migrations, initial build of LPAR on new HMC, including required SAN zoning. During migration, shut down LPAR, repoint to new Power Processor on the DS and CISCO SAN, power on the LPAR on the new HMC, update IBM OS and 3rd party license keys, update PowerHA toolkit.
