Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with a strong understanding of mobile testing and hands-on experience using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) commands. The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of testing mobile applications on Android devices, identifying bugs, and providing detailed reports to developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of mobile applications on Android platforms.
- Use ADB commands to interact with Android devices/emulators for installing APKs, capturing logs, simulating user actions, and more.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and document defects.
- Capture and analyze logcat logs to identify and isolate bugs.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot issues on Android devices.
- Maintain and update test documentation, test cases, and test data.
- Perform smoke, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Verify bug fixes and provide clear, reproducible bug reports.
- Assist in reproducing customer-reported issues using ADB and manual testing.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in manual testing, specifically for mobile applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with ADB commands and understanding of Android system architecture.
- Familiarity with Android logs, crash analysis, and device management via ADB.
- Experience testing on various Android devices and OS versions.
- Ability to write and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary : $35 - $40
