JOB DESCRIPTION :
Design & Development : Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts following microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
Containerization & Deployment : Leverage Docker and Kubernetes frameworks for containerization and deployment of applications on platforms like OpenShift Container Platform.
Proof of Concept (PoC) : Plan and execute Proof of Concepts to evaluate and demonstrate solution options to stakeholders.
Best Practices & Code Quality : Ensure development practices follow best coding standards, including regular code reviews, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD).
Security & Compliance : Implement and maintain security best practices across all Python and Big Data solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Stay Updated with Technologies : Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Big Data and Python development, driving the adoption of new tools and techniques that enhance productivity and efficiency.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, build scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality products on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proficient in Python development, including creating scalable applications and scripts.
Experience with microservices architecture and its application in designing distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications on container platforms like OpenShift.
Experience with CI / CD practices and version control tools (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of security best practices in Python and Big Data solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex development challenges.
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Solid understanding of coding standards, code reviews, and software development lifecycle.
o Understanding of API development and integration in a microservices architecture.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Spark and Hadoop and related bigdata tools
