We are looking to hire teachers for the following positions: High School Math, High School English, High School Classical Rhetoric, and Grammar School Teacher (3rd/4th Grade). Position 1: High School Math Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach high school math courses, such as Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, in a way that challenges and engages critical thinking.
- Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages active problem-solving and collaboration.
- Integrate Christian perspectives into the teaching of math, emphasizing how logic and order reflect God's design in the world.
- Grade assignments, tests, and projects, offering constructive feedback to support student improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field from an accredited university.
- Prior experience teaching high school math, preferably in a classical education setting.
- A committed follower of Christ with a passion for mentoring students both academically and spiritually.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex mathematical concepts understandable.
Position 2: High School English Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach high school English, focusing on literature, writing, grammar, and composition.
- Foster a love for reading and writing in students, helping them analyze and critique both classical and modern literature.
- Encourage students to express themselves clearly and compellingly, both orally and in writing.
- Integrate biblical themes into literature discussions, helping students see God's truth reflected in great works of literature.
- Grade essays, projects, and exams with detailed feedback to guide students’ growth as writers and critical thinkers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Previous experience teaching high school English, preferably in a classical or Christian education setting.
- A deep passion for literature and writing, along with the ability to engage students in thoughtful discussions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position 3: High School Teacher – Classical Rhetoric
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead instruction in classical rhetoric, focusing on persuasive speech, argumentation, and effective communication.
- Guide students through the process of crafting, refining, and presenting their theses for academic or public speaking assignments.
- Create an interactive classroom environment where students engage deeply with rhetorical theory and practice, using debates, speeches, and written exercises.
- Provide mentorship to students, helping them develop their public speaking skills, refine their writing, and master classical methods of persuasion.
- Integrate Christian perspectives into the study of rhetoric, teaching students to use their communication skills for God's glory in all areas of life.
- Assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to help them improve in critical thinking and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with a focus on rhetoric, communication, English, or a related field.
- Experience teaching high school students, ideally in a classical education setting.
- A committed follower of Christ, passionate about mentoring students both academically and spiritually.
- Familiarity with classical education principles and strong knowledge of rhetorical theory and practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage students in meaningful, thought-provoking ways.
Position 4: Grammar School Teacher (3rd/4th Grade)
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach all subjects to 3rd and 4th grade students, including Grammar, Mathematics, Science, History, Literature, and Bible.
- Create a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment where students are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and spiritually.
- Integrate classical education methods to build a strong foundation in grammar, reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Foster a love of learning through interactive and engaging lessons, helping students see the connections between different subjects.
- Assess student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback and individualized support to ensure mastery of content.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to create a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for students.
- Integrate biblical values and principles throughout all subjects, guiding students in applying their knowledge for God's glory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Previous experience teaching elementary-aged children, preferably within a classical or Christian education setting.
- A committed follower of Christ, eager to mentor students in both their academic and spiritual growth.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills, with the ability to teach a variety of subjects in a fun and engaging way.
- Passion for fostering the academic, emotional, and spiritual development of young learners.
