Service Department Assistant Supervisor

Job Summary: Assists in overseeing all facets of the Service Department. Serves as a liaison between Service Coordinator and Service Department Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Serve as Service Department Supervisor in their absence
• Assist in the development and training of new Service Coordinators

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Service Coordinators.
• Maintain and manage roofing project repairs in the scheduling system accurately and timely.
• Monitor roofing zone schedules and approve subcontractor payroll.
• Communicate professionally and efficiently with Field Supervisors, suppliers, builders and communicates changes as they arise.
• Provides follow up and status updates as request by field staff and management.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow directions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent team player.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 4 years of construction experience, both field and office experience preferred.
• Technical roofing knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform some travel.
• Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times.
• Must be able to lift 15-75 pounds at times.
