YOUR DAY
As a full- or part-time Dental Hygienist, you will be so much more than just cleanings. You'll take routine and indicated radiographs, identify and treat gingivitis and periodontal disease, and apply sealants for kids. You'll also work closely with Dr. Cynthia Wiggins, communicating when patients need scaling and root planing and ensuring they get the care they need to maintain their oral health long-term.
Education is a big part of what we do. You'll be a super-educator, teaching patients how to take care of their smiles at home-because what they do every day is just as important as what happens in the chair. And the best part? You'll have an entire team supporting you. We take care of that so you can focus on patient care-without all the extra responsibilities of running your own practice.
YOUR HOURS AS AN DENTAL HYGIENIST
We offer full-time hours, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM with three-day weekends. We also welcome part-time applicants and are happy to work with your schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Michigan Dental Hygienist license
- Proficiency in radiographs and periodontal treatment
- Strong ability to educate and engage patients in their oral health
- Appreciation of the operational and financial structure of a practice and the resources provided
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
