Volunteer Roles
- Patient Support Volunteer: Provide companionship to patients and give caregivers a break. Activities include reading, hobbies, and errand running.
- Administrative Volunteer: Assist our care team behind the scenes by supporting office tasks, sending cards to families, organizing special memories for patients, sewing memory bears or blankets, and more.
- Music Therapist Volunteer: Brighten patients' days with music and provide comfort to healthcare staff.
- Pet Therapy Assistant Volunteer: Share your certified therapy pet's love with patients, bringing joy and emotional support.
- Veteran Companion Volunteer: Connect with fellow veterans, offer companionship, and participate in meaningful ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Understanding and supportive of hospice philosophy.
- Compassionate person who is accepting and respectful of people's differences.
- Must be able to pass background check requirements.
