Our Kids CrossFit program is designed to teach children foundational movement patterns, develop coordination, build confidence, and instill a love for fitness in a safe and engaging way.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Kids CrossFit Coach to lead group classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for children ages 5-12. The ideal candidate has experience working with kids, a background in fitness or CrossFit, and a desire to make fitness fun and accessible for young athletes.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured, age-appropriate CrossFit-style classes for kids.
- Teach fundamental movement patterns with an emphasis on safety, form, and fun.
- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate workouts incorporating bodyweight exercises, light weights, agility drills, and games.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment where kids can build confidence and enjoy movement.
- Educate children on the importance of exercise, teamwork, and healthy habits.
- Communicate with parents about their child’s progress, class expectations, and any concerns.
- Maintain a safe training space and ensure proper equipment usage.
- Adapt workouts to accommodate different skill levels and abilities.
Qualifications
- CrossFit Level 1 (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification.
- CrossFit Kids Certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience coaching or teaching children in a fitness, sports, or educational setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for working with children and creating a fun, engaging fitness environment.
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
