Key Responsibilities
$45 - $60 per hour plus overtime, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and hazard assessments
- Enforce safety compliance and site-specific AHA procedures
- Participate in preparatory and daily safety meetings
- Maintain documentation, including safety reports, JSAs, and incident records
- Coordinate directly with project management and government representatives
- Ascend up to five flights of stairs multiple times daily for inspection access
- Utilize a full-face respirator as required by site conditions
- Meet or exceed the requirements of EM 385-1-1
- Prior SSHO experience on USACE, DoD, or government-contracted projects
- OSHA 500 Construction Safety Training (minimum)
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Test
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to wear a full-face respirator and meet stair-climbing requirements
- Additional safety certifications (CSP, CHST, CQM-C, etc.)
- Familiarity with Government and federal contracting platforms (e.g., eSub, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar)
- Previous experience supporting projects at military or chemical facilities
- June–July: 40–50 hours/week
- August: Up to 60 hours/week
- September: 40–50 hours/week
- Workdays: Monday–Saturday as needed, based on project phase
- Monthly paid rotational breaks (4-day weekend off per 30 days on site)
