Overall Purpose of Position:
Perform nondestructive, and destructive failure analysis (FA), constructive analysis (CA). Operate and maintain FA lab equipment, keep inventory of lab chemicals, and supplies.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform nondestructive and destructive failure analysis
- Hands-on experience with SEM, EDS, optical microscope, cross-sectioning, parallel lapping, package decapsulation, chemical etching
- Familiar with X-rays, CSAM
- Produce detail technical FA reports
- Maintain FA lab equipment, keep inventory of lab chemicals and supplies
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working in an FA lab environment
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
