About Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity (AOII) has been a pillar in the Fraternity/Sorority Life community since its founding date of January 2, 1897, at Barnard College. Since that date AOII has established chapters on over 200 college campuses across the United States and Canada and initiated more than 200,000 members. Why an Education, Training, and Events Intern at AOII
An Education, Training, and Events (ET&E) Internship with AOII is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about developing impactful resources for leadership and training. As an ET&E intern, you will gain valuable experience in content development, resource creation, and project management—skills that will support your education and career growth. This role works closely with the Education, Training, and Events department to enhance and refine AOII’s educational materials and training resources. Interns can expect weekly check-ins with the department’s associate director and opportunities to collaborate with other AOII departments and stakeholders.

Direct Supervisor responsibilities to:
- No supervisor responsibilities
Compensation:
- Non-paid
Essential Duties or Functions:
- Writing, editing, reviewing, and supporting the development of officer training resources and educational materials.
- Auditing and updating content on Fulfilling the Promise to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assisting with departmental projects that enhance AOII’s educational initiatives and events.
An Education, Training, and Events Intern Must be Able to Demonstrate:

Qualifications:
- Initiated member of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity
- Currently enrolled college student, including graduate students
- Ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Two years of relevant education experience preferred
Working Conditions:
- Office setting based in Brentwood, TN, remote work capable, relocation not available
- Must be willing to work evening and weekend functions as necessary, some travel may apply
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on the computer
- Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at times
