Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain commercial embroidery machines to produce high-quality customized apparel and accessories. The ideal candidate has experience, a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain commercial embroidery machines to create custom designs on apparel (jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc.).
- Load and hoop garments correctly for embroidery.
- Select appropriate threads, needles, and machine settings based on fabric and design requirements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on embroidery machines.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control by inspecting finished products for defects.
- Maintain an organized workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Assist in inventory management of embroidery supplies and materials.
- Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill custom orders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating commercial embroidery machines (Melco, Tajima, Barudan, or similar brands preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications precisely.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a production-based environment.
- Knowledge of embroidery software (Wilcom, Pulse, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move boxes of apparel and supplies as needed.
- Availability for either part-time or full-time shifts.
Work Schedule:
- Store hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 AM - 6 PM
- Flexible scheduling available for part-time employees
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
