Alpha Plus Home Health Services is seeking experienced registered Nurses to join our team! We serve patients all over San Diego County, including rural and unincorporated areas. You can choose to work in the East County, North County, South Bay, Beach communities, or Mid City—we have patients everywhere and we continue to grow!!

Mileage is reimbursed at the current California IRS rate.

To effectively care for individuals aged 21-101 across diverse situations and living environments, you must encompass a combination of technical skills in various aspects of caregiving, deep compassion and empathy, strong adaptability, excellent communication abilities, and the mental fortitude to navigate challenging situations while prioritizing the dignity and quality of life for each person in their "home."

Position Overview

An experienced registered nurse who is responsible for the overall management of patients, including direct care and is familiar with using the Home Health OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set).

Establishing effective goals and interventions, advancing an effective, and safe, quality plan of care with optimal outcomes.

The RN is responsible for directing the frequencies of nursing visits and duration of care using the safest and latest best practices while following regulatory standards, attention to utilization, and cost control.

Must be a graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.

• RN-Registered Nurse Licensed in California
• Healthcare Provider BLS-Basic Life Support CPR
• California Drivers License, Current Registration
• Has current home health experience and at least one (1) year of acute nursing, medical-surgical, or equivalent experience.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Currently possesses or is in the process of obtaining professional liability insurance.
• Is a current CA licensed driver with regular access to a reliable and maintained motor vehicle with current registration.
• Able to verify current automobile insurance in accordance with Alpha Plus Home Health Services requirements.
• Able to present a pre-employment physician’s health clearance, including negative TB skin tests, CXR and/or other tests, and vaccinations as required by the statutes of the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in home health settings, including catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Administer basic life support and CPR as needed, ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to educate them about health management.
• Travel to patient homes, adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a valid RN and driver's license.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $70.00 - $125.00 per hour
