Irrigation Landscaping Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in various landscapes.

Duties

• Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation issues, including leaks, broken components, and system malfunctions.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks related to irrigation installation and repair.
• Dig trenches for pipe installation and perform landscape modifications as necessary.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules align with lawn care practices.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, including installation techniques and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
• Proficient in using hand tools for various landscaping tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
