Ceramic Packager

This person participates in the production and packing of ceramic crucibles. This position reports to the Ceramics Packing Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures to maintain compliance with ISO standards.
• Inspects and packages ceramics per procedure.
• Operates hydraulic presses to produce ceramic products.
• Inspects greenware for visual defects and uses appropriate calibrated equipment to verify critical dimensions.
• Packs ceramics into saggers for firing
• Record and maintain paperwork needed for tracking ceramics.
• Performs additional duties as requested by Ceramics Production Manager

Requirements

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Lifting up to 55 lbs.
• The ability to stand, sit, and move around are essential qualities.
